Bookies William Hill are expecting up to £10 million will be bet on the final day of Big Brother 9. Mickey is the favourite to win at 5/6 but Hills are seeing money for all the remaining contestants with three figure bets placed on all five in the last few hours. “We think it is very close and four of the final five have a real chance of winning. Mickey is by far the worst result for the bookies as we approach the final night but we are seeing big bets for all the remaining contestants except Darnell, who is all but certain to be the first out on finals night.” said Hill’s spokesman Rupert Adams.

BB9 has seen solid turnover for the bookies with a conservative £12 million estimated to have been wagered to date and Hills will be hoping that Channel 4 does not decide to pull the plug on Big Brother.

“Big Brother betting is still extremely popular and we would be very sad to see it go, should Channel 4 decide to axe the show. All good things must come to an end and I would think that there will be plenty of takers for the 5/1 that we have seen the end of Big Brother,” said Hill’s spokesman Rupert Adams.
