No bet last night because I thought there would be a liverpool win but Pod thought that it would be a draw. I had a ton on Liverpool anyway. Game ended 4-4 so £100 down personally. This could end up being a painful month for me.
Tonight we are having a double of Chelsea and Man U. All £110 on it at 1.8.
Well, Boro/ Fulham ended 0-0. Thats the last time we look at other people looking at bets. Can’t believe that we changed the bet. Even money for unders was a steal but because everyone else seemed to be betting on overs, we had to join the tide.
Arsenal also lose. Looked good to start but they finally lost 2-1. Bank down to -£200.
Sunday, I just let Pod pick the bets. He seems to be doing better. Here’s his text.
We’ve got £150 on Man Utd tottenham double which returns 449 including stake and £50 on Ipswich to beat Norwich at 6/5.
Was looking good with Ipswich and Spurs winning but Man U let us down. Overall another £90 loss.
Bank now at -£290. Could be a short month.
Strange one this week. We decided on Boro/ Fulham unders. Expecting odds of 1.7 we were shocked to see it being even money. Odds everywhere on overs were dropping.
Only bookie that didn’t drop the odds were Boyles. So at Bet365 you could get unders for 2.00 and overs at Boyles at 2.2. What an arbitrage. Putting my tin hat on, I see there is something dodgy going on. Someone knows something. Odds never move that much unless multiple big spenders all bet the same way.
So our initial unders bet has turned in to an overs bet. £100 at 2.2 for 3 or more goals in the Fulham/ Boro game.
Second bet of the day is Arsenal to beat Chelsea. Arsenal raise their game for these big occasions and I see them winning this. £100 staked at 3.1.
