Its been a bad week for the footy betting.  We’ve both lost money.  Roma and Werder Bremem let me down on Tuesday and Sheffield United let Pod down.

Wednesday was claw back mission but that didn’t go well.  I had a ton on Lyon (drew 2-2) and Pod had £50 on Man U (0-0 draw).  I am starting to wonder whether we should pack this betting lark in and just play poker.

Anyway, today’s bet for me is £100 West Ham to beat Newcastle.  Haven’t spoke to Pod but he’s had a terrible month and probably just going to skip this weekend.  The syndicate won’t start next week.  Maybe October.

With the champions league starting again I’ve decided to start my strong trebles system.  Chelsea/ Werder Bremen and Roma pays just under evens £42 staked.  Still no syndicate though.  I put it on with Partybets.  Just looking at my account history and they have this handy sell your bet back feature.

Pods had a £100 on Sheffield United at 1.8.  They should win but to be honest I don’t want to ever bet on Sheffield United ever again.

Still nothing from the syndicate.  There still is nothing I fancy betting on.  I did fancy Man U but not enough to be on them. Pompy, Blackburn, Man City and Wigan were considered on the handicap but ultimately rejected.

Pod’s had a single bet on Pompy to beat Boro.  £70 at 2.1.  Maybe next week.

I would like to say a big thank you to Jenningsbet.  Few readers will remember when Premierbet went bust but Pod remembers all too well.  He lost about £550 when they disappeared.

Looking at the jenningsbet site, they do some good football odds.  All premiership matches are booked to 104%.  I am sure in future we will be using jenningsbet as its a solid site with some good odds.

Big Brother bettors will be hoping that Michael can hold on for a further few days as he is now the odds on favourite at 4/5 to win BB9. Michael was installed at 9/2 on the first day in the house with one Edinburgh punter placing a £1000 bet on him in June, which if successful win the punter a £5,500.
