Weekend Bets 19th/20th January
Both bets win. Late goal for Blackburn makes it 2-1 and Athletic win 1-0. In profit for the first time this month. Bank now at +£66.
Tricky weekend to come. We don’t fancy any of the big 4 at the price on offer. Away wins are always the hardest to get and the skinny prices have no appeal. 1.65 for a Liverpool home win against Villa is a joke too. Pompey to beat Derby is tricky. Might even have cheeky fiver on the away win. Half Pompey’s first team is in Africa.
So bets are Everton to beat Wigan on the Asian Handicap. Wigan are doing alright but the teams they’ve played have been pretty poor (I put Liverpool in that bracket). It was 1-0 last game against a 10 man Derby. Not very good at all. Everton are doing well, last 10 games, 6-2-2, losses against Man and Arsenal, draws away to Pompey and Chelsea. Asian Handicap is -0.25 at 2.08.
Spurs to beat Sunderland next bet. Low odds on home win so looking on the Asian Handicap again. Its -1.25. Price 1.97. Sunderland have picked up some home form but away are still poor. Spuds have go to climb the table at some point and this is the type of game they should win easily. Fingers crossed for a 7-1 hammering.
