Todays bet is Sheffield Wednesday to beat Coventry, price was 1.78 at VCbet -0.5 on the Asian Handicap. Two clubs heading in different directions. Wednesday on the up, Coventry on a downer, with a lot of first team players out. Pod’s a blade so doesn’t like backing the ‘pigs’ but this is business and if Wednesday deliver the goods we may as well profit from them. Two warning signs on this bet. First, the price on Wednesday has drifted. 1.85 on Betfair now. Second, got a text message from Pod’s dad recommending the bet. His tips rarely win!!
Second bet of the weekend is O Sullivan v Ding, Ding Junhui to win 2.8. Don’t know too much about snooker but Pod knows his stuff.
