A nice bet for Tuesday is Lyon to beat AS Roma.  The first leg was 0-0 in Italy.  Lyon have to go out an win this to qualify.  A draw will put Roma through (unless its 0-0 then its extra time then penalties).   Lyon have gone through a rough patch but are still a quality team.  Maybe being so far ahead in the French league has made them a little complacent.  Roma are doing alright but this year’s Serie A isn’t very strong.  At 1.91 at Betdirect this is a steal.  £100 staked.

Yesterday treated us fairly well.  1 win, 1 draw and 1 half loss.  Bank at now +£45.

Two results I fancy today, are Bolton to beat Blackburn and Tottenham to beat West Ham.  Both are available on the Asian at -0.25. Had a look at the prics and its 1.85 before commission on Betfair for Bolton and 1.9 at Betdirect for Tottenham.  £100 staked each.

Also had a cheeky 1X2 double on this.  £20 each but its not going on the syndicate.  Price was 4.51 before commissions on Betfair.

Another month another new bank. Three bets to start of the month. Chelsea -0.75 to beat Portsmouth. £100 at 1.9. Chelsea really need to win this game. If not then its game over for the title race. Portsmouth have hit a period of bad form.

Other bet is Sheffield United +0 to bet Everton at 2.04 before commission. The blades can grind out a result at home. Also they were pretty unlucky at Goodison earlier in the season. Having a man sent off and a penalty given against them allowed Everton to win 2-0.

Finally  Fulham -0.25 to beat Villa.  Fulham unlucky against Man U last week.  Villa after a long break could be rusty.

Liabilty today £300.  If these all lose we could be in for a short month.
